I didn't realize of this post. So you ended up leaving gTasks...

@Jason I looked at phpTodo. I would suggest replacing categories with tags (as you already plan on doing) and maybe more priority ratings?

@tycho I have putty on my network drives. But the terminals on the school Macs are blocked somehow. However, I'll probably using my linux machines much more next semester, so I'll definitely look into org-mode more

@ch I really like GQueues, especially the calendar integration, however, I really want to have flexible tags as opposed to hard containers (whether you call them lists or queues) but I might take GQ for a spin. Thanks for telling me about that.

You might also check out GQueues ( <a href="http://www.gqueues.com" rel="nofollow">www.gqueues.com</a> ). It integrates with everything Google, but has more features than Google Tasks, and I think a simpler interface than RTM. Everything in a "queue" is prioritized by number. It might not be exactly what you are looking for, but worth taking a look at.

the answer to not having a computer which has an ssh client is, to my mind, putty on a flash stick. macs all have terminals and OpenSSH installed by default.

Cheers!

Priority Queues... Very, VERY interesting.. I've been working on an update to my phpTodo project (http://todo.godshell.com) and adding something like this makes sense.

I have what amounts to a priority queue already, using the standard low/medium/high scheme, but perhaps this needs to be modified somewhat to reflect a wider range of priorities? Any suggestions?
