After reading Outliers, I have been fascinated by the 10,000 hour concept. Personally I'm interested to apply it to my 2 core interests (programming and ice hockey). I think I've passed the 10,000 hour mark for programming (since I do it as a job), but am only at 2,500 hours for ice hockey. And the difference is very clear!

Also, I wanted to say you write well. So 10K hours of programming or 10K hours of writing... either way good luck!
