As for number 5 I have been playing around with blogger’s moblogging feature. it does work well.

There are plugins for WP to enable moblogging but your server has to use the send-mail fonction so it has to be activated on your server.
Other wse you can simply do it via Flickr but then you’ll have to send a picture along with your text message otherwise it’s not gonna work.
